Research Training | Research Infrastructure
RESEARCH TRAINING
At VLS Providers, our team meticulously adheres to sponsor study protocols, current FDA regulations, GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines, ICH standards, and our company’ s standard operating procedures. This meticulous approach ensures patient safety while preserving the accuracy and integrity of clinical data.
Ongoing Training: All staff undergo regular updates on GCP and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to stay current with industry standards.
Certification: Our team is IATA (International Air Transport Association) certified and trained on a range of EDC (Electronic Data Capture) and IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) platforms.
Clinical Skills: Staff are proficient in performing on-site EKGs, blood draws, IV administration of investigational products, and vital sign monitoring. They are also trained to conduct home visits, virtual and remote visits, and telephone consultations for clinical research studies.
Our commitment to comprehensive and up-to-date training ensures that our research practices meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE
At VLS Providers, our advanced research infrastructure is designed to support the highest standards of clinical research:
CLIA Waiver: Our facility is equipped to meet CLIA requirements for laboratory testing.
Freezer Units: We maintain separate -20°C and -70°C freezers for optimal storage of research materials.
Conference & Monitoring Areas: Dedicated spaces for meetings and patient monitoring.
Research Storage Room: Secure and organized space for research materials.
Clinical Examination Areas: Equipped for physical exams, EKGs, and phlebotomy, including a site-owned EKG machine.
Drug Storage: A double-locked, temperature-controlled room ensures the safe storage of study drugs.
Consultation Rooms: Separate rooms for consenting and assessments.
Clinical Equipment: Ambient centrifuge, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), digital scales (weight), stadiometer, automatic and manual blood pressure machines, and digital thermometer.
Study Drug & Supply Storage: Refrigerator for storing study drugs and supplies.
Office Equipment: Copy machine, printer, and scanner.
Participant Facilities: Separate waiting area and entrance for participants and study representatives, with ample space for monitors, access to wireless internet, copier, and telephones.
All equipment is calibrated annually, and temperature readings are recorded daily in the double-locked study drug room to ensure optimal conditions and compliance with research standards.
